Inventory becomes more useful when it is tied to place. A company may need to know what is in a store, on a truck, or at a customer site. It may also need to know what is moving between locations. Atlasemoji can connect item records, inventory rows, and scans. It can also connect demand signals and geofenced events.

For CPG and retail suppliers, this can support VMI or scan-based trading. A company could load stores as locations, maintain item and inventory tables, then pipe in demand signals such as EDI 852 or API data. Stakeholders can then see where inventory and demand are developing against the plan.
